A new thing. Bright and shiny and one of the many reason why BRG hasn’t been coming out every day recently (more on that to come).
"Sandcastle Dynasty: A Welsh Short Story About the Welsh Short Story" is an excerpt from my new book Abandon All Hope: A Personal Journey Trough the History of Welsh Literature, and also marks the first in a series of collaborations with Terrier Productions and WARP bringing a new selection of short stories to BRG.
If you find my voice quite irritating, this has not been a good week for you at BRG, as this is the 3rd audio drop in the last six days. Sorry about that. But the new series of audio short stories represents a new partnership with the wonderful Terrier Productions, and there’ll be quite a few coming up in the second half of the year (which we are now in - crikey).
I am also going to leaning more heavily toward discussing the art of storytelling, which is what I originally wanted BRG to be about, but still with an eye on stuff I have enjoyed, and things I think need discussing.
Yes, BRG is largely a newsletter of whim.
So, thanks for reading (and, increasingly, listening).
