Arts Show Special: Huw Stephens

A chance to chat with the "voice of Welsh music"

Morning - it’s been a while. A month, in fact, since the last BRG newsletter. And this has mainly been down to a lack of time to write anything. But here is news of the latest Arts Show special I have recorded for BBC Radio Wales.

I was very pleased to sit down with Huw Stephens for half an hour chat on his journey from Radio 1 presenter at 18 to one of the great champions of music coming out of Wales, presenting shows on 6 Music, BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru. In between he has established himself as one of Wales’ leading broadcasters. He’s also a thoroughly nice chap.

I wanted to interview Huw because I always think there is an interesting dynamic when you begin to seek answers from the person who has spent a career asking.
